Sharmanda Jean-Francois is a graduate of Howard University with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating in Community Development, and a minor in Sociology. She currently serves as the Community Coordinator at Fair Ridge Shelter, a family shelter program operated under Shelter House Services. In her role, she supports community partnerships, coordinates donations and resources, and helps connect families experiencing homelessness with essential services and support. Her previous research experience includes work with Anne’s Place and Catholic Charities Eastern Washington, focusing on housing, resident needs, and service delivery across various housing programs.
