Our Mission
At Anne’s Place, our mission is to provide long-term supportive housing to individuals who, without our assistance, would face homelessness.
Our People
We are a group of people who live in the Washington DC area who see a need for people to create housing opportunities for other people in the community.
We belong to various congregations and work in diverse professional fields. We are both young professionals and people with seasoned careers.
What we have in common is a deep satisfaction in knowing that we roll up our sleeves to create a beautiful citizen-driven movement to house others in need.
What began as a challenge for one congregation to create one house, has become a personal ethic that drives us to do more and to do better.
We love it when new people decide to give us a try and join the work. We are, after all, people housing people!
