Barrington is a native Washingtonian - he lived most of his life in Anacostia. He graduated from Anacostia High School and worked for 30 years as a Mental Health Tech, dealing with mentally challenged clients, helping them with life skills and adjusting to their jobs. Barrington went into this work because his grandmother had always told him that everyone needs help at some time and he wanted to be able to provide that help when he could.
