Andrew O. Aning

Andrew is the first resident of Anne's Place to join the Board of Directors. 

Andrew earned a Bachelors in Business Administration at Howard University with a major in Actuarial Science. Upon graduation he had a stint with Riggs National Bank (now PNC bank) working in the Adjustments/Investigations department on tasks including bank reconciliations to ensure cash records are correct. Andrew passed CPCU exams in Risk Management and Insurance with a legal foundation of insurance policies Andrew joined Claims Administration Corp. in Rockville as a Claims Examiner. Responsibilities included timely and accurate adjudication of healthcare claims and some IT activities in object oriented programming languages including javascript, java and C++. Andrew voluntarily retired due to medical cause. Volunteered at Friendship Place. Received 2012 Benjamin E Cooper Award Good Neighbor Award for selfless service to our homeless neighbors.
